Believe there are no Limits

Hello Cheremane here with you for today's post. I was so lucky and got to play with the new Acrylic Pouring items that have just been released with Kay live on Hochanda. I'd never tried it and oh wow I had so much fun.

First I added three different paints Marshmellow,Townhouse TealRaven Black & White Geeso Good along with some water ,Go-Flow and Cell-u-Like into a plastic cup. I used a 6 x 6 piece of watercolour card which I placed on top of the cup and then turned it upside down and let the paint do the work.

You need to leave it to dry fully preferably till the next day as thats what I did I did before stamping the sentiment from Mindfulness A5 stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black and then heat embossing with clear powder. Some Pours will take longer to dry depending how much paint you use.

I painted the frame with Black Geesso Good once dry I painted one coat of Raven Black before stamping with Marshmellow paint and the Collector's Edition NO.6 Circle Dots stamp.

Finally I stamped the Large Butterfly #2 and heat embossed it with clear powder before diluting some Raven Black paint with water and colouring the Butterfly once dry I put the the frame back together so it's all safe now behind glass.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you've been inspired to try some paint pouring trust me you will love it.

Don't Change

Hi Cheremane here with you today.
I adore the New Large Butterfly #2 and decided to combine it with a gelli plate background seeing I've had one for ages and hardly used it. First I added some Postbox Red & Lemon Meringue Paint then rolled it with a brayer.

Whilst the paint was still wet I stamped the Angel Wings stamp into the paint to remove the colour so it would add a white image on the background.

I mixed some Teal Luscious with water and painted some IndigoBlu card stock before stamping the Large Butterfly #2 with Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossing it with clear powder and then cut him out.

I stamped a Large Butterfly #2 onto my background and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Mindfulness.

I added some Black Gesso Good splats and went round the edge of my card with Black Soot Distress Ink before matting onto a 6x6 card blank and then adding the cut out Large Butterfly #2 with glue gel to raise his wings.

I hope you found a little inspiration today don't forget to pop back again soon to be blown away with inspiration from the team.

Live Creatively

Hello Cheremane here with you today. This month is all about flowers at IndigoBlu.
I've used the stunning Peony Posey stamp along with lots more IndigoBlu goodies.

First I stamped the Peony Posey using Versfine black ink and heat embossed it with Clear Superfine Embossing powder,  I did this twice so I can decoupage parts of the image later. The embossing makes the image easier to colour and also give it some texture.

Using one of the new paint colours Rouge and some phat foam I created a border on some stamping card to create a cordinting mat. Doing this means you always have a piece of matching card for layering.

With a waterbrush and the Rouge paint I coloured area's of the Peony Posey and cut a few elements out from my second image that i'd stamped. I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the gorgeous Mindfullness #1 stamp set. I did some mat and layering and also added some black card to make it pop, before decoupaging the flowers over the top with glue gel.

Thank you so much for joining me today be sure to pop back again soon to be inspired by the team.

Angels Watching Over You

Hello Cheremane here with you today. Over at IndigoBlu we are all about things with wings this month so I have created a Canvas with the gorgeous Mindfulness Stamp Set teamed with the Bubbles Stencil and yummy paints.

First I made some Spritz bottles with the three paints Lime Marmalde, Coastal Walk & Marshmellow. Mix 4 parts water to 1 part paint. I then spritzed some water colour card along with the canvas board.

Once dry I stamped out three of the Butterflies from the Mindfulness Stamp Set with black soot distress ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder and then cut them out.

Once the canvas was dry using some phat foam and coastal walk I stenciled the Bubbles stencil diagonally arcoss the board.

Once the paint was dry I used a white paint pen and added some details to the bubbles and then placed the stencil back over the bubbles and used some Super Thick Slap It On over the stencil to make the bubbles look wet. It looks cloudy untill it dries. To finish off I added the butterflies with some 3d glue gel, I stamped the sentiment with Black Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear powder and then trimmed it into sections and ruffed up the edges with my scissors before placing on the canvas.

Thanks for joining me today, don't forgot to pop back again soon to be inspired by the team.
Tune into Hochanda at 8pm this Saturday 13th May for the IndigoBlu ODS live with Kay Halliwell-Sutton and some stunning new products and amazing demo's.

Breath Deeply

Hello Cheremane here with you today. This month at IndigoBlu its all about stories. so here we go.
The girl behind the masked face was walking through a field on a beautiful sunny morning, she sat down in the middle of dandelion clock cluster, took a deep breath in and with one blow all the little dandelion heads took to the sky to float away to pastures new.

To begin I took a piece 6 x 6 of watercolour card and placed one half of the Girl in Profile stencil before spritzing with Stroke of Midnight Paint from the Junk and Disorderly range, To make the spritz I mixed one part paint to four parts water.

With the other part of the Girl in Profile Stencil I covered up the spritzed part of the card. I added some Steam Whistle Paint to some phat foam and rubbed this over the face.

Once dry I used Leather Corset paint to stamp one of the grasses from Victorian Garden stamp set round the edge of the face. I just love using the IndigoBlu paints to stamp with.

Using flitterglu I stamped the dandelion from Victorian Garden stamp set and heat embossed it with super fine white embossing powder. The sentiment is from the fabulous Mindfulness stamp set. To finish off I edged the card with Leather Corset Paint and layered it onto a 7 x 7 card blank.

Thanks for joining me today, I hope you enjoyed the story.
Pop back soon to be Inspired.

Script Heart

Hi Cheremane here with you today. We are feeling the Love over at IndigoBlu this month so I have created a simple but effect card.

To begin I took a piece of water colour card mixed some  Luscious Powder with water.

I didn't add to much water with the Luscious powder as it will give you texture to your card. I just adore the sheen of the the mica from the Luscious Powder.

I stamped the Dinkie Script stamp twice with black archival ink.

I then die cut two small hearts with a random die I had in my crafty stash.

I adore the new Mindfulness stamp set and wanted to use just three words of the one sentiment so I masked off the rest of the stamp with some tape before I inked it up with black archival ink, I then removed the tape before stamping the sentiment on my card.

Thanks for dropping by I hope you will  pop back again soon and join in the IndigoBlu love.
