Chameleon Friend Fridays Blog Hop with IndigoBlu - Week Three

Welcome back to the third week of this series (if you missed out the first week was HERE and the second HERE). We were really excited when Chameleon Pens approached IndigoBlu to join in with their Friend Friday Blog Hop series. Each Friday during June two of our designers will be sharing projects they've made using Chameleon Color Tones 5 Pens Sets and the IndigoBlu stamps, stencils, paints, mixed media papers and flakes you are all familiar with.

Make sure you hop over to see the projects created by the Chameleon Pens Design Team HERE.

First up from IndigoBlu we have a fabulous mixed media project by Cheremane Smith;

Hi, I'm over the moon to share with you my second creation using the fabulous IndigoBlu products teamed with Chameleon pens. The depth you get from just one pen is amazing which means you don't need loads of different shades as it all in just one pen.

I started with an 8 x 8 box canvas and gave it a coating of White GeeSso Good once dry I watered down Pheasant Bronze & Wimberry Pie IndigoBlu Acrylic Paints and dribbled the paint down the top of the canvas and added a few little splashes. Whilst that was drying I stamped several flowers and a butterfly from the Floral Fantasy IndigoBlu Stamp Set with Black Archival Ink and then coloured them with Purple Grape & Aqua Marine Chameleon Pens before fussy cutting them out. To finish off I stamped one of the sentiments from the Floral Fantasy Stamp Set and cut it into strips before distressing the edges of the IndigoBlu Stamping Card and then edged them with black ink.

I really am hooked on these pens and will be trying more sets as they work so perfectly with the IndigoBlu Stamps.

And now we share a gorgeous IndigoBlu project from Nikki Killinger;

This is my second project with the Chameleon pens, and I love them! The tones you can get from just one pen are brilliant, and they are really easy to use. For this project I have used the brand new Rose Dinkie from IndigoBlu, released for our 5th birthday, and our very own Diamond Resin.

First I stamped the Rose Dinkie onto IndigoBlu perfect stamping card, and coloured with the blue Chameleon pen from the primary set. I fused the pen around 2 to 3 seconds for each petal, and coloured from one side to the other to give light and shade. This was cut out to fit inside my bezel from my own stash. The card is then sealed both sides and edges with Slap it On Gloss, and glued into the bezel, and sealed again for good measure. The Diamond Resin is then mixed according to instructions, and poured using a lolly stick to reach a natural dome on top of the bezel. Once set this is rock hard jewellers grade resin, and is fantastic for all sorts of projects. The pens and resin are a match made in heaven!
