Mixed Media Canvas by
Welcome to my little creative corner. I got my mixed media on for this project and got inky and painty hands to prove it and one messy desk! Mixed media allows us to do whatever we are feeling and it is ok. Use any product, any technique..just make art. It is very liberating and IndigoBlu makes it easy with so many great paints, stencils, papers and more. Plus, I got to use up a bunch of my scrap IndigoBlu Mixed Media Papers, too!
Supplies Used:Indigoblu: English Cottage Acrylic Paint, "Park Lane" Grand Tour III Stamp Set, Texture 6" x 6" Stencil, Roman Numeral 6" x 6" Stencil, Mixed Media Papers, various, Slap It On.
Other: Tattered Angels: Baseboard in Ivory, Glimmer Mist in Viva Pink and 8" x 10" canvas, Ranger Archival Black Ink, Tombow ABT N15 black brush pen, Faber Castell PITT Pen in Magenta, White Gesso.
Start with your paper scraps, apply the Slap On and adhere to the canvas randomly. We will be covering it with gesso so do not worry about placement.
Cover the paper with white gesso without covering all the images. Keep a hint of the images.
Using a stencil, add heavy texture paste and allow to dry.
Add some of the Park Lane paint to the front over the edges and front texture portions. Water it down a bit so that it is not too overpowering on the paper.
Sprtized the Glimmer Mist and Baseboard and spread with a paint brush. Using your pens outline some of the squares from the stenciled portion. Add a stamped image to give it its final piece.

Enjoy! Thank you for coming by.
