All we need is something that makes YOU think of autumn, and of course, using your Indigoblu stamps.  For me it's falling leaves, bright oranges and reds, berries in full fruit, but it could be something completely different for you, we'll let you interpret it, a wild windy beach perhaps?

Our winner from last month, Linda, has created this for us:

She had this to say:

Hi All,
I was so lucky to win the August challenge and was asked to be guest designer for September.
I love autumn and enjoyed making this card using IndigoBlu stamps with my autumnal coloured Distress Inks.
The stamps I used were my prize and can be found on the website, Discover your Passion and Dragonfly Dinkie.
I have stamped the leaves and dragonflies onto vellum and love this sentiment.
You can see Linda's make HERE in full.

Thank you Linda, it's a pleasure to have you with us this month.  And now for our Design Team's inspiration, they've blown me away as usual (no leaf jokes there)..

Challenge 30 - Top 3 Inspiration - Precious Metals

Good morning!

Lovely to have you joining us again on the challenge blog, today it's time for the Top 3 from Challenge 29 - Flutterby, to share the pieces they have designed especially for us, to inspire you further this month, in the 'Precious Metals' challenge.  You still have a few days to enter, hurry and join us HERE.

I think you will agree these lovely ladies have done us proud!  Hop across to their blogs via the links to see how they made these inspirational pieces.

First we have Jane:

Jane had this to say:

I cannot tell you how much fun I have had doing this card, I was transported right back to my childhood days of doing wax crayon rubbings on gravestones and leaves and all sorts of different textures....except that there were no wax crayons in this technique. I started out with a sheet of aluminium foil, I laid it over the CIRCLE DOT BACKGROUND stamp and rubbed over the top with my bonefolder, then defined the circles more with my ball tool, taking care not to tear the foil, then leaving the foil on the stamp, I gave it a coat of black acrylic paint, then added some brown, orange and teal paint, dabbing it on here and there with a sponge, when it was dry, I rubbed silver gilding wax over the surface lightly to bring out the circles. I matted and layered it onto shaped die cuts, and clear embossed the same circle stamp on the top layer.  I sponged FLITTERGLU onto the dinkie FLUTTERBY stamp, stamped it onto vellum,  and added the MORRIS DANCE mega flakes....ohhhh how I love that colour!!!, I cut them out and added them with a bit of silicone glue. I made the litttle banner using a word from the TRULYMADLYDEEPLY stamp, and added it with a couple of metal brads.

Next we have Mari:

Mari told us:

I was thrilled to have my card chosen as one of the top 3 entries of the previous challenge and honoured to be asked to do an inspirational piece for this month's Precious Metals challenge. I love stamping with FlitterGlu and coating the stamped image with Mega-Flakes, but this time I wanted to try something different. I stamped Elizabeth Bennet with brown ink on to kraft card and framed her with a die cut shape. I cut the frame from kraft card covered with double sided tape and then coated it with Chocolate Box Mega-Flakes. I love that the flakes are so big that I could pick the colours I wanted and place them where I wanted on the frame. I embellished my card with organza ribbon which has gold satin edges to complement the Precious Metals theme.

And finally it's Veerle:

Veerle told us:

I have used the Mega Flakes Lancashire Rose. (This was my very first use of flakes ever. Must say i rather like doing it)
The stamps i used are the Peony Posey – the leaves from the Giant Peony and the Peony Dinkie.
Hope you like it. Have a nice day.

I hope you will agree, this is stunning inspiration from our Top 3 ladies of last months challenge.  You could be next, all you need to do is enter :)

So what are you waiting for... get creating and join us if you can, and win some fab Indigoblu stamps, and a guest spot on the blog.  Visit the Challenge HERE, and check out the rules HERE.  There aren't many, and it's worth a go.

Best wishes,

Indigoblu Challenge Team,
Demonstrators, & Top 3.

Last month's winner Helen, made this fab lamp for us:

Helen had this to say:

I had a naked bodice to hand so decided to make an apron using the Anemone Corner stamp. I used 'Mowed Lawn' Distress Ink pad on green fabric, added a pocket, a flower button and lace. I covered the bodice with a floral decoupage paper and added a bead 'necklace'.

I then had an idea to turn the bodice into a lamp base so dug out a naked flower pot to use as a shade. I turned the pot upside down  to create a shade and covered it using 5 pieces card (one plain piece for the top of the pot) that I coloured with a 'Stormy Weather' Distress Ink pad and I stamped the border stamp from Nature 1 across the bottom of each piece of card in black VersaFine. Once I had glued the card in place I used a clear tube (piece of junk) to glue the shade and bodice together.

I think you will agree this is a fantastic idea from Helen, I'm sure she would love it if you hopped across to her blog to check out the full details.  Thank you Helen for your inspiration this month for IndigoBlu.

And now to our Challenge Design Team, who have some makes to share with you too:

This months challenge is... 'Off the Edge'

Our lovely winner of the Spring Green's challenge has joined us as a Guest Designer this month, this is her inspiration for you:

Beverley had this to say:

I would like to thank the team at IndigoBlu for inviting me to be guest designer this month. I feel honoured and delighted to join them. I have always been a huge fan of IndigoBlu and I am still amazed and thrilled to have won.

The blue background of the card has been done with alcohol inks, cling film technique and using the diamond stencil and blending solution to form the pattern in the places I wanted.
I stamped the bubbles background stamp in white pigment ink in two corners.
I used the diamond stencil again, coloured embossing paste, silver and blue glass glitter, which added dimension and interest to another corner.
The last corner was highlighted with heat embossed enamel, mica flakes and coloured glass glitter.
The Big Butterfly stamp has been stamped and embossed with white embossing powder ‘Off The Edge’ of the blue background card.
I cut out a square out of white card and popped the blue background into it. This gave me ‘The Off The Edge’ theme that I wanted.
I stamped the Big Butterfly again and the Bubbles Stamp and heat embossed with white embossing powder and added more embossing enamel, mica flakes and glass glitter onto the white card to finish off the theme.
I masked off one of the bubbles and stamped a small butterfly from the Butterfly Collector stamp set into it and embossed in white.
I masked and coloured some of the bubbles and added glossy accents to them.
The word ‘Love’ has been die cut with glossy accents on it.
Lastly, I used a Dye ink around the edges and mounted it onto white card.

I had fun, tried new techniques to me and now have lots of ‘trial’ (mistakes) backgrounds to use at a later date!
Thank you once again for giving me this opportunity and thank you for your fabulous, continuous inspiration from your very talented Design Team.

Thank you Beverley for joining us this month, beautiful inspiration!

You can see Beverley's full blog here.
