The Draughtsman

Morning All,

Carolyn here with you today sharing a simple but effective card using The Draughtsman stamp set recently launched by Kay on Hochanda.

For this card I used Black and White card, Onyx Black Versafine and Stazon Cloudy Sky.

The main image of the Draughtsman was stamped onto white card using Versafine Black Onyx. I cut this to 75mm square and mounted it onto Black card. This was then trimmed to leave a 1mm black border.

The background was repeat stamped to cover a 110mm by 110mm square card using Stazon Cloudy Sky. This was also matt and layered onto Black card and trimmed to leave a 1mm border.

The card was made up by matt and layering the main image onto the background and then onto a 125mm square white card blank.

Thank you for joining me today and do pop back to see the fabulous inspiration from the team.

Live Creatively

Hello Cheremane here with you today. This month is all about flowers at IndigoBlu.
I've used the stunning Peony Posey stamp along with lots more IndigoBlu goodies.

First I stamped the Peony Posey using Versfine black ink and heat embossed it with Clear Superfine Embossing powder,  I did this twice so I can decoupage parts of the image later. The embossing makes the image easier to colour and also give it some texture.

Using one of the new paint colours Rouge and some phat foam I created a border on some stamping card to create a cordinting mat. Doing this means you always have a piece of matching card for layering.

With a waterbrush and the Rouge paint I coloured area's of the Peony Posey and cut a few elements out from my second image that i'd stamped. I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the gorgeous Mindfullness #1 stamp set. I did some mat and layering and also added some black card to make it pop, before decoupaging the flowers over the top with glue gel.

Thank you so much for joining me today be sure to pop back again soon to be inspired by the team.

Twinkling Unicorn Canvas

Hello there, Cheremane here today with my very first post as part of the International Design Team. I just adore Jewel the Unicorn stamp it's perfect for so many occasions.

I started with a 20cm x 20cm Canvas Board giving it a coat of Black GeeSso Good. Once dry I mixed some yummy Blue Luscious Powder with water to give a blue metallic wash, to make it look like a night sky.

Next I added some Extra Thick Slap it on through the beautiful Vintage Frame Stencil. The slap it on dries clear if you leave it as it comes out of the pot.

Before the Extra Thick Slap It On was dry I added some delicious Unicorn Sparkles. I just adore glitter.

I wanted to change my Extra Thick Slap It On from clear to silver so I mixed it with some yummy Silver Luscious powder. It's brilliant as you can now make your very own different coloured texture paste's. If like me you make to much then why not put the excess into an empty Mega-Flake pot ready for next time, as this is what I have done.

Randomly place the Stars Stencil and the made up Silver Slap It On over the canvas. Just look at that Luscious Powder! I really can't stop using them along with the Stars Stencil, they definitely never seem to be off my table at the moment.

Now to finish, stamp out Jewel with Versafine Majestic Blue ink pad and add some Unicorn Sparkles to the main and tail with Flitterglu.

The sentiment is from the New Sparkle and Glisten Stamp Set,before adding I used the Paper Distress Tool to the edge of the card.

For the final touch I added some clear gems for extra sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you like it as much as I did making it.
