Hello Everyone and Welcome! Ksenija is here today and I am sharing a clean and simple project today.
I am highlighting Clumber Park and Grand Tour III stamps sets by IndigoBlu.
I created an encouraging card by sponging a card stock panel with a mix of Distress Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberries and Seedless Preserves). I splattered clean water with a brush over the distressed panel, counted to 20 and rolled a paper towel roll across to pick up some diluted inks, and heat set the colour.
To add more interest to the panel I distressed the edges lightly with Black Soot Distress Ink and heat set it.
The sentiment is from IndigoBlu Grand Tour III stamps set and the flying birds are from Clumber Park. I stamped down the sentiment first and then the birds in Jet Black Archival Ink.
I added a compass image from IndigoBlu Grand Tour III stamps set to the lower right corner by stamping it down first in Seedless Preserves Distress Ink, heat setting and then stamping it down with FlitterGlu and covering with IndigoBlu Chocolate Box Megaflakes.
How beautiful is the combination of the migrating birds and the encouraging sentiment? I hope you enjoyed this quick and elegant card and I inspired you to create a project to play along at IndigoBlu Challenge "Anything Goes" this month.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
