A water-colour card for any occasion

Hello everybody,

Emmy here today with a new creation to share. This month we are focusing on florals at IndigoBlu blog and since IndigoBlu has so many fantastic stamps featuring flowers, it was very difficult to choose one to use.

This card is quick and simple and all you need is white cardstock, a rubber stamp, white embossing powder and distress crayons.

Cut a 21 x 15 cm for the card base and fold it in two. Cut two more panels from the white carstock, slightly smaller than the card base. Colour the edge of one of them using Indigoblu Artist's Acrylic Paint Vodka Martini (Metallic Silver 60ml). Allow it to dry.

Stamp the image from the Indigoblu Summer Lovin Red Rubber Stamp using embossing ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Colour the image using Tim Holtz Distress Crayons Set #5, Set #3 and  Set #1.

Once everything has dried add Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue and Self-adhesive Rhinestones.

Let Your Dreams Fly card with Emmy

Hello IndigoBlu fans!

Emmy here sharing my first project for May. This month is about wings and flying high at IndigoBlu blog and I've prepared a butterfly card to share with you.

To create my background I used the Rain Droplets Red Rubber Stamp with white embossing powder. Then I coloured the white cardstock using Luscious Pigment Powder - Blue mixed with Slap It On - Super Thick.

Then I stamped the butterflies from the Floral Fantasy Red Rubber Stamp using silver embossing powder and coloured them with Tim Holtz Ink Pads.

For my sentiment I used a quote from the Grand Tour III Red Rubber Stamp.

Leave a Trail card with Emmy

Hello IndigoBlu fans!

Emmy here with my first project for April. This month we are focusing on stories at IndigoBlu blog. And here is mine - when I was little my granddad told me and my sister to think before we speak and that words are powerful and can really make a difference. He filled our house with books and stories and taught us how to appreciate words. So, today I thought to create a card with my favourite saying from IndigoBlu.

For my background I used the Grand Tour III Red Rubber Stamp - I heat embossed the compass using white embossing powder and my favourite quote with gold embossing powder. Then I coloured the panel using Luscious Pigment Powder - Blue mixed with Slap It On - Super Thick. As a final touch I added Unicorn Sparkles - Magical glitter.

Then I stamped Industrial Lamps Large Red Rubber Stamp using FlitterGlu and Megaflake Manchester Tart. I coloured the image using Scattered Straw and Squeezed Lemonade distress ink pads.

Gilded Easter Egg cards with Emmy

Hello IndigoBlu fans!

Emmy here with my first project for March. This month the focus on IndigoBlu blog is on Spring. And what is the best thing about Spring, beside the flowers - Easter of course. So, I've prepared two quick and charming Easter cards to share with you using Indigoblu Easter Egg A6 Red Rubber Stamp and a lot of different colours distress ink pads.

To create these cards I heat embossed the image using Indigoblu Easter Egg A6 Red Rubber Stamp and gold/silver embossing powder. Once the image has cooled down I used two sets of Tim Holtz Distress ink pads to colour my Easter eggs.

Blue - Shabby Shutters, Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky. 

Red - Squeezed Lemonade, Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick.

Love Beyond Words with Emmy

Hello IndigoBlu fans!

Emmy here today with a brand new project to share. This month is all about LOVE! Of course :-) What I prepared for today is not the usual Valentine's card, but I really love this quote and I think it says it all!

To create my card I used two different stamp sets, Mega flakes and Flitter Glu. 

I stamped the swirl using  Floral Swirl A6 Red Rubber Stamp. I added Flitter Glu to a Indigoblu Phat Foam and "inked" the stamp with it. Once I've stamped the image onto white cardstock, I covered it with Megaflake Chocolate Box. 

I coloured the background using Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads - Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold and Fired Brick. 

For my sentiment I used Live Laugh Love A5 Red Rubber Stamp with gold embossing powder.

I die cut the frame around my sentiment and coloured it with Indigoblu Artist's Acrylic Paint Goldfinger (Metallic Gold 60ml).

A Card with Chemistry Lab

Hello IndigoBlu fans!

Emmy here today sharing a card I created with two of my favourite stamp sets from IndigoBlu - "Chemistry Lab" and "Industrial Lamps" -

For the sentiment I used heat embossing with Gold embossing powder. Then I coloured the background using Tim Holtz Stormy Sky and Broken China distress ink pads.

Then I stamped the lamp on another piece of white cardstock using Indigoblu FlitterGlu and Chocolate Box megaflakes. Then I fussy cut the image and coloured it with a mixture of Tim Holtz Scattered Straw, Tea Dye and Spiced Marmalade distress ink pads.
