Watching Over
A 6x6 (15cm x15cm) grey board was painted with BlackGeeSsoGood and then Sleeping Beauty metallic paint to make a night time
sky. FlitterGlu was sponged through the
Starburst stencil in the top left corner and Sheffield Steel Megaflake
applied.
Black GeeSsoGood and Super Thick Slap-it-On were mixed
together and applied through the Whimsical Houses
stencil onto orange card, when dry the
houses were cut out. Unicorn Sparkles and
Super Thick Slap-it-On were mixed together and
used to edge the house's roofs and applied through the Stars stencil onto
the night sky. The houses were then
attached to the panel to make a townscape.
The Angel was stamped twice onto white card and painted with Luscious, one Angel was cut out completely and the other just the wings. Both had a little of the remaining Unicorn Sparkles mixture spread over them before the extra wings were attached and added to the panel.
The sentiment from Spirit of Christmas was stamped on a little painted card, embossed in white, cut out and edged with Unicorn Sparkles and adhered to the panel to finish the panel.
I do hope your holiday preparations are going well and you are still able to get creative!
Take care, Kay M

Thanks A Bunch
Hello Cheremane here with you for today's post. December at IndigoBlu is all about counting your blessing's and Thank you. So I have created a simple but effective Thank you card.
I started with a piece of water colour card which I spritzed with water before tapping some Luscious Powders with a soft brush straight from the pot.
I then spritzed more water onto the card, I just love how the Luscious Powders move around and blend when you spray them with water, look at that metallic shimmer!
Once I dried off the card I dusted over it with an anti-static bag and then added some Flitterglu to some Phat Foam and stamped the Stylised Flower Stamp straight over the top and added White embossing powder. Flitterglu is brilliant for heat embossing as you don't have to rush to sprinkle the embossing powder on as it stays tacky till you put something onto it.
I heated the embossing powder to make it permanent. The shimmer from the Luscious wow's me every time I use it.
I didn't want to use the whole Word Block #1 stamp, as I just wanted the middle part so before I inked it up I taped over either side of the Thanks and removed the tape before stamping straight onto the card. To finish off I mat and layer it onto some Black IndigoBlu card stock.
Thank you for dropping by today I hope you liked it and I've managed to inspire you ready for all those Thank you's we need after Christmas. Keep your eyes peeled for the next inspirational project from the team.

DIY Stamped Desktop Christmas Calendar
Inside I stamped Snowflake Lace repeatedly and embossed in white. I went over the edges of the panel with white chalk for a chalkboard effect.
I painted a sheet of corrugated board with Snow White Metallic Paint and raised it up using more cardboard beneath. I wrapped a red ribbon around the panel and tied a loopy bow. I used a purchased flower and die cut holly to further embellish. I stamped the largest frame in the Vintage Frame stamp set in Fired Brick Distress Ink and layered over another die.
I computer generated the dates and printed onto sticky paper, then cut with a circle punch. Each day I will simply adhere the date over the previous date.
I mounted the deer from the Winterland Wood stamp set above the panels for extra dimension. I added a few snowflake dies to complete the project. These were also rubbed with chalk.
There's still time to pick up the Winterland Wood stamp set before the holidays! Visit indigoblu.com today for yours!

May You Always... card with Emmy
Hello IndigoBlu fans!
Emmy here today with a brand new project to share. This month is all about Counting Your Blessings on the IndigoBlu blog and creating Thank You cards. So, I decided to start with a cute card for any friend you wish you cheer up!
Emmy here today with a brand new project to share. This month is all about Counting Your Blessings on the IndigoBlu blog and creating Thank You cards. So, I decided to start with a cute card for any friend you wish you cheer up!
To create my card I used two different stamp sets, Mega flakes and Flitter Glu.
I stamped the girl using Indigoblu Ella Bella Rubber Stamp. I added Flitter Glu to a Indigoblu Phat Foam and "inked" the stamp with it. Once I've stamped the image onto white cardstock, I covered it with Megaflake Manchester Tart.
I coloured the background using Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads - Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Fired Brick.
For my sentiment I used Rococo Rubber Stamp by Indigoblu with silver embossing powder.
I hope you enjoyed today's project!
Come back soon for more inspirational creations from our design team!
